@PatriceONeal The point of education is to better yourself. We all need money to live. Qualifications get a better paid job. So that is the important part of going to college.
I understand the importance of education. Unfortunately so do thousands of private institutes, they then raise tuition prices with help from government bailouts to the point of redundancy. You're better off not going to college when you've been completely priced out. You leave college at 22 with 120k debt and no job lined up. Like I said you'll be in your 30s by the time you've cleared that debt if you do. It's not a good pathway to success.
@PatriceONeal In the UK quite a lot. The fees for UNI are high but, not as high as you quoted. For college they in greater part are paid by the government.
The government caused inflation everytime they tried to "help" here in the US. The price of housing, cars, education, and healthcare have all been inflated very badly thanks to well-meaning government programs. If there's more money to ask for than people will ask for it.
