Coworker comes into work barefoot?

I've brought it up to the manager repeatedly and she does nothing. Now I want to report it to HR because not only is it disgusting, but I don't like her. She is a SALES LEAD and she's doing this behavior?
Would that be a stupid reason to call?

This is one of those things that I couldn't even imagine happening in a professional setting, and it should not be tolerated by management.
It's one of those things that just don't happen in a professional workplace, and someone like that should just be sent home.
Granted that I used to work in places where ties were required for the guys and high heels for girls; but even in more relaxed places there still was a certain guideline - I often wear sandals during summer for health reasons, and I had to bring a doctor's note. For reference, this kind of "formal" sandalsDefinitely report her, and if your manager does not take action, escalate. It's not simply a matter of decorum and appearance, it's also a sanitary and health issue.

I think you did the right thing, it’s really a disgusting thing to do. It’s ok to walk barefoot at beach or at home, but at workplace is absolutely revolting and disrespectful. You’re right to report all this, given also that she has a management role.

@Guy__ funny thing, she doesn't do that either. Every time it's just the two of us she sits in the back on her phone for up to 30 minutes at a time. I tried bringing that up to my manager too but nothing changes.

Thinking back to our office dress code, it said no open toed shoes or heels over 4 inches... it never specifically said that the employees had to wear shoes!
