Would you like to learn Magic?

The Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at Exeter university is now offering a masters degree in Magic and Occult Science.

The course blends King Arthur and dragons with Islamic teachings and feminism. Which I'm sure you all agree is almost as good as Hogwarts.

So where the broomsticks, magic spells and the ever changing staircase. Nope it is not hogwarts.

But a study what " magic " ment in the past and how it " effected " people as well as where it was doen and the archaeologic point of few can be very interesting.

Besides that.. the witches back in does days where no different than the Gypsy. It was a culture a way of living. Often closer to nature then everyone else. Solving problem ( health etc ) with solutions from nature.

I think it might be different from what you think. Cause I was told that in academic circles magic is a word for a certain fantasy legend fiction genre and does not mean magic in the traditional sense and occult might refer to supernatural faith based prayer petitions and starlight astrological predictions and not satanic rituals or hexes.
