How do you balance multiple careers?

I wanted to further my education and did over the last 10 years elevating myself to self-employed from a corporate position as an RMA - or Registered Medical Assistant. Did you at any time go back to your previous careers? Covid didn't help me with the mandates, but I'm content where I'm at.
