Do you have/use Patreon?

Are you an artist or creator that uses it in a way to be able to provide for content or just someone supporting one of those folks?

For those of you that don't know here's a quick summary provided from Wikipedia,
"Patreon is a membership platform based in the United States that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service. It allows creators and artists to earn a monthly income by providing exclusive rewards and perks to their subscribers, or "patrons"."

I have an account and i want to be creating my own content. But i haven't really started yet. Plus the idea of constantly having to make something just to get money from people doesn't quite appeal to me. I want my books published and my artwork as well but i do not want to have to be slaving away just to make money to pay my bills. I run into the same issue of slaving at a low paying job.

Lol no! I'm legit curious.
It'd be freaking awesome if I was getting paid for my questions. I may be throwing around the idea of starting something and am trying to use this as a gage to see its relevance

Ok, then. I haven't even heard of this app. Also: what a 'creator' might be is a little misty to me.
Basically, any online service that promises an income -even if it's 'basic' - is an empty promise in my eyes.

I would use it for a couple people but it requires a monthly payment versus an one time only payment.

no, because neither am i a beggar, nor do i hand money to beggars. i understand patreon is a good tool to sell (extra) services based on how much people pay but the vast majority uses it to straight up beg for money.
