What is your favorite SciFi Universe?

There have been many Science Fiction TV and movie series, consisting of more than one TV season or more than one movie, that define a SciFi Universe. This Poll lists several of them.

OK, I should have had an "Other" option... many people are naming something other than these 7.

Out of Alien films, i only liked Resurrection. Out of Planet of the Apes, i only liked Mark Wahlbergs film and only the first (with James Franco) of the newer ones. I finally gave Star wars a chance this year br i only watched 1999 Phantom Menace through 2019. I only enjoyed Attack of the Clones (fully), Revenge of the Sith (ending), Solo (beginning), Last Jedi (ending), and Rise of Skywalker (fully). wasn't big on the others 1999+. So i chose Star Wars for the above poll. Outside of the poll, I liked Predator 1 (with Arnold), Predators (with Adrien), The Predator (with Olivia), AVP (with Sanaa), and AVP Requiem (with Sam Trammell). I don't know i just found movies involving the predator way more interesting and would like to see Prey. I liked Species 1-3 more than any of the above. I liked Back to the Future 1/2. Quiet Place 1 and 2 were good. Out of Terminator, i liked Judgment Day, Rise of Machines, Genisys and Dark Fate. Tomorrow im gonna try Salvation. I loved the Jurassic Park films but wasn't crazy about Fallen Kingdom nor Dominion. I’ll quit while I’m ahead

Out of Star Trek, i saw the first. It was good. I didn't get to see Into Darkness but i didn't like Star Trek Beyond that much

I'm going to say Star Trek because that's the only one I've seen so far out of these options, but the others like Lost in Space, Star Wars, and Battlestar Galactica sound interesting. I'd like to see those too.

My favourite ‘universes’ are Honor Harrington/ Manticore Ascendant and Safehold written by David Weber, along with Anita Blake, Merry Gentry and Zaniel Havelock by Laurell K Hamilton, they are not fully ‘Sci-Fi’ but there’s enough different ‘science’.

I mean out of all of those Star Trek. But the movies of late have sucked. I am into the different television series.

What's there not to like about light sabers and being able to force choke someone if need be 🤷‍♀️😂 plus I love the idea of unified galaxies, pod racing, space travel, and being able to jump around all nimbly bimbly like a cat

The prevailing thinking is that science fiction is all futuristic and involves space travel.

When I was a child, my favorite science fiction author was Jules Verne.

Of the seven choices, my preferred movie was Planet Of The Apes. The movie is based on a book by Pierre Boulle, whose other successful book was Bridge Over The River Kwai, in a totally different genre!

I really kind of liked "The Orville" when it was on free tv.

But, I really liked Science Fiction Theater from the late 1950's. Episodes were created around actual phenomena just taken a few steps into the future.
