She Hulk. Hawkeye. Black Panther 2. Antman3. Ms Marvel. Antman3. Thor4. Avengers Endgame had to have a very cliched and cringe “all women scene”. This scene was incredibly stupid because suddenly all the female characters unite and fight together and NOT once during this scene a male character interferes as if they are giving the woman a chance. So in the midst of a inter galactic universal battle the men are standing back for the woman to have a “girls get it done “ scene. With the MCU I get that most of the long standing cast members are stepping down after over a decade, the orginial Iron-man movie being filmed in 2007 which is 16 years ago and they are getting into their middle aged and the schedule of constantly having to stay in shape and the various commitments to filming making it difficult. Chris Evans was on steroids cycles for 10 years constantly eating brocoli and chicken and working out. Chris Helmsworth is 39 and the same story. Scarlet Johansen is 38 and was pregnant running around in a cat suit, if you notice how very thin she was. Chris Pratt is the Same at 44. Zoe Saldana is 45. Its the same for most of them. I get what the MCU is doing they are trying to keep the franchise going by having younger new cast members take up the mantle of these superheroes. They already did this in the actual comic books like 10 years ago replacing the main male characters with women, lgbtq and minorities bit people weren't intrested.
@Storm It's mainly a feature of the TV series. Hawkeye, Loki, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel... though Black Widow certainly deserved a better movie than she got. I'm not going to rehash my lenghty diatribe from above. It's not that the others are male-centric and these aren't, it's that the men are so poorly written to exist only as plot devices for the needed bumbling idiot to be saved. It's the male "damsel in distress" trope, and that's played out no matter which sex it is.
"black widow and Wanda are awesome charcters in their own right"
Couldnt' agree more. I've loved wanda since she took a level in badass in AoU. That's a large part of why the pandering is so offensive. Don't take great characters (who aren't great BECAUSE they're a woman) and surround them with badly written token characters who ARE only there because they are a woman, because that makes it seem like they're all the same.
Black Widow fights monsters with gods and super soldiers. As a mortal. With a pistol. I mean... respect on the intestinal fortitude that takes.
Gweneth Paltrow shows up in her Iron Protector armor and the day is saved though...
@BoopBoopBeep the pepper pots thing is like in that awful flash TV show where all the charcters get super powers. A great question someone asked one time is why didn't iron man give all the avengers Iron-man suits? Lol

I think the problem was these MsheU movies kinda sucked.
What ones? Only 2 I can think of out of the whole franchise is captain Marvel and Black Widow. The rest have been male centric movies.

@StormMistress
Rockstarrrr's post below ("Yeah it all started with that cringe scene...) sums it up nicely as well.
@BoopBoopBeep black widow and Wanda are awesome charcters in their own right

I really should have thrown "In a cave... with a box of SCRAP!" in there after "with a pistol"... opportunity missed.

i won't care if its mens or women superheros they need, i just want them to make MCU same as before.
I'm with you... we need more women in spandex! I agree with you though.

Just complaining and moaning about fantasy BS.
