Meeting my boyfriend's parents and I'm super shy?

OK so I've liked this guy for about 3 years and we started talking about a year ago and have recently just started dating. he wants me to meet his dad and his dads gf. I'm really shy and I do not like attention on me. I actually cried in class before when I had to recite a poem in front of my English class..that's how bad it is.well anyways I really want his parents to like me but I am quiet and I don't want to come off as rude..so any advice? keep in mind I am 15 so nothing crazy

I recommend telling all of this to your boyfriend *before* you go to meet his dad. Ask him to look over you and protect you from any heavy-handed attention. Boys love it when they're asked to protect their girl. It appeals to their masculine instincts and makes them feel like a man. I think it's adorable when a girl is super-shy and would love to look over her and try to keep her comfortable.

I've been there its really hard and my bf's parents were crazy just be yourself even if you are shy its okay. Just tell them flat out right away just so they know. just say smething like, "I'm sry if I'm quiet during a convosation I'm a little shy." maybe tell them this is your first time meet a guys parents and the shouldn't have any problems that's all I can offer
