I have a crush on a guy and his birthday is coming up. I'm really nervous to wish him a happy birthday because even though I have his phone number I've never used it (calls or texts). I feel like texting would be the more appropriate and personal route vs Facebook timeline or messenger. Am I off base here? Is texting the right way to go? In case you're wondering, I'm the type of person who always feels that I'm bothering others by initiating contact. I just know if I don't acknowledge his birthday I'll regret it in the future. Also, just out of curiosity how do you guys feel when a girl acknowledges you on your birthday?
