I'd probably offer my chair before my lap just because most of my friends are guys and really big. But other wise, if I was offering my lap I'd probably just say have a seat and gesture to them to sit on my lap. depending on why we are sitting like that would determine whether or not I put my arms around them, probably would just because I don't think any of us would care and it would feel "safer". I don't mind... My guy friends and I do it all the time, even when there are still plenty of seats around... A situation is only awkward if you make it awkward... Although its usually the other way around cause I'm quite small in build and they often joke about not wanting to break me...

I offer to let him sit and then sit on his lap with out asking... I'm not shy so I ask straight up... And no I don't put my hands around his waist that could be perceived as a romantic gesture so no... They often sit on my lap without asking and I don't mind it in the least..

Typically "Dude, sit on my lap or have my seat and let me sit on yours." If he's really close add a joke like "You know its the only time you'll ever get ass." And we'll laugh about it... But it hardly ever gets turned down...
Normally in a group setting where we are all talking and laughing doesn't really matter where we are... Most common place is actually my accounting class cause we all need a little comic relief/cool down in that class and we sit in a group and talk so when a friend can't find a seat close enough to be included in the convo there's always space on my lap... Lol...

Well guys are heavier most of the time. So that would make me physically uncomfortable. It happened before. He asked if he could sit on my lap. I agreed. And he was heavy af lol. So we decided to switch places. Its not weird or anything, its just uncomfortable.

If not, maybe share the seat or if it has a desk attached to or near it, I'd sit on the desk and I'd let him sit on the chair. Either way it's not that big a deal.

1. Not really, depends on the person and my kind of relationship with them. If I were to offer my friend let's say his name is Kyle, well anyway I would say something along the lines of "Hey Kyle, you can sit on my lap if you don't wanna stand." Or something like that.
2. I would if we're really close, in any other case it would make me look kinda thotty. Why? Well I can tell you that after a while your legs start
giving out.
3. He could if as I said we had that kind of trust.
4. The only difference with my female friends is how people would think of it rather than if a guy sat on my lap. First of all it's wouldn't be seen as thotty and secondly I have more trust with my friends that are females for obvious reasons.

I’d normally just straight up ask if they want to sit on my lap and then it’s followed with me patting my lap from them to sit. Honestly both sit girl and guy friends sit on my lap equally as much. And yes I sit on my friends laps as well.
Hadleigh has sat on my lap plenty of times before. He just can with his hot chocolate in his hand and sat on my lap because I had a blanket over me with a water bottle so I guess he sat on my lap for that reason since it was very cold that morning.

Hadleigh has sat on my lap more mainly because we do spend a lot of time together. And yes I put my arms around his waist, mainly because it’s the only place I can put them. I sit on sages lap because I just do? And I pat my lap but it’s just an indication that I want them to sit on my lap. And yes hadleigh is bigger than me. I have no fat friends and a my friend and I are around the same height, there not much difference.
Not to make each other jealous but in my class, there’s a few boys that aren’t in our friend circle who do like myself and my friends so my guys friends like to make those guys jealous and no I don’t know why they do that. Irdk it'd depend on the person. If I knew it was a friend who couldn't be into me (cuz of their sexuality) I'd be a lot more open to offer. If not, I'd probably ask them if they wanted to beforehand whether they were a guy or a girl. If he’s a close guy friend then yes I’d offer. I would do the same to any close girl mate. I might not wrap my arms round his waist but then I don’t know, I might do. Just cause he’s a bloke doesn’t change the fact he’s a close friend and I wouldn’t see anything wrong in letting him sit on my lap. If he came and sat without asking it wouldn’t bother me either and if it did I’d just make a joke of it and tell him to get off as he’s to heavy.

I would suggest that he sit and let me sit on him. Not to be flirting but because I’m BARELY a hundred pounds 😂 I don’t need the weight of some dude crushing me. He could handle my weight much better than I can handle his.
