Why do so many women have baby rabies?

Everywhere I look, there are pregnant women or women with a newborn baby. If a married couple doesn't have a baby, she says they're trying for one, and unmarried women say all they want is to be a wife and a mother.

When the woman finally has a baby, she obsesses over it to everyone by posting pictures and sharing news about the baby that litterally no one cares about.

I don't get this craze that gets into these women. Why are they compelled to have children? All these mommies and mommy wannabes are really beginning to get on my last nerve.

Because you're getting broody and jealous about the fact that they all have babies and you never will. I think you'll find that fewer babies are being born in the Western world than ever before; the replacement birth rate required to avert population collapse is 2.1 children per woman, but across the Western World, it's now no higher than 1.8, and this year, has dropped below 1 in a country (Cyprus) for the first time in human history. And across the world, the more 'female empowerment' you get, the fewer and fewer babies are being born- to the extent that the native (excluding immigrants from countries which still have population growth, which are almost exclusively limited to the Islamic world now) population of the Developed World is projected to have halved by 2050, with the population having aged to such an extent that more than 2/3rd of schools will become non-viable, and both pensions and retirement will have to be abandoned entirely. It happened in Ancient Sparta, where feminism and the rule of women led to babies being viewed in the way you view them; your feminist doctrines will lead to our civilization ending in the same way. With the hordes of Persians marching through your gates, the once-strong and proud men having been enfeebled and emasculated to such and extent that they can't even raise arms any more, raping you all and sexually enslaving you like all the rest.

Children bring a new chapter to ones life and bring a lot of joy. I could imagine how satisfying it is to raise a literal human and watching them grow up and becoming their own person. Being able to shape and guide them to be the best versions of themselves and watching them finally succeed. I want children in the next couple years with my fiancee. I don't know why bitter progressive bitches like you want to hate on literally producing life. It's a beautiful thing. You were once a baby too lol

Listen, I don't hate babies or any woman who may want them. I'm not bitter or one of those modern day feminists that this mental illness has spread through. I just happen to not want children myself. It's a choice I made, a personal preference. And since I don't want kids, I don't feel what other women feel that makes them want children.

I do happen to believe all babies are blessings. I'm one hundred percent pro-life. The abortion debate makes me sick. My heart breaks for any parent who loses their child, whether through miscarriage or any other way.

All I meant with my question was that recently everywhere I turn, there's a pregnant woman, a woman announcing the birth of their new baby, people asking women when they're having kids, and couples saying they're trying for a baby.

I feel overwhelmed by all the baby news, and I'm not the one having the kid. That's all it was.

Hate to break it to you, but we tend to see around us what our subconscious mind is desiring.

If you want a particular car, suddenly they're everywhere. Adverts for particular food. It's all in there.

If you are noticing and paying attention to all these babies then you probably have those baby rabies and are going to start to look to get knocked up.

Hard to say. I think baby rabies is genetic to many women, but I also feel like the way our society prides women for childbirth more than almost anything else probably plays a large part.

Because there is so much joy and happiness with raising a child... and people tend to want to share happy moments with people (aka posting on social media).

What are you talking about? Many young women are not interested in having children. And I know almost no one under 50 who had their first kid when they were under 25.
