How long should I wait to ask her to hang out again?

I was supposed to hang out with her today, but she cancelled because she apparently had therapy. She rescheduled for tomorrow, but then sent me a message last night saying :

"Hey I don't know if this week is good to hangout. I foundout i was pregnant in march but the baby died its a miscarriage and had to take meds to expell the baby out and it hasn't come out yet I've been in intense pain and think its best i stay home right now untill i am healed soon tho."

She lied about being sick once, and now I'm not sure if I believe her. How long should I wait to ask her to hang out again?

We shouldn't tell you how to handle your affairs with people. Your an adult now, so make up your own mind and choices. If you already have bad feelings about her then you shouldn't be communicating with her that's all. But if you really care about her, or you can do is just leave her alone until she is ready to speak with you. But overall you really do need to just ask her what the heck is going on and just confront her.

Do you think I should believe her? She doesn’t make excuses every time. A month before she lied about being sick we hung out and we hung out a month after she lied, and both were her idea.

If you have to ask is these questions, your not ready for a relationship or friendships with people. She could be lying every time or not. But you have to decide that.

Because as an adult, you should already know what to do, how to handle your affairs and make choices you chose to be in. This is just common sense.

I found she was telling the truth. She doesn't know I doubted her, and I've been nice to her. I'm still an asshole though I'm really disappointed with myself.

You think she invented a miscarriage to avoid hanging out with you? People invent headaches, not that. Anyways, wait a couple of weeks.

I know it sounds crazy, but she lied to me about being sick once. I'm not talking about the flu either. She told me she was in intense pain and that she only worked one week because of it. She also told me that she spent a night in the hospital, and that she was still feeling very sick. The very next day she was at a party and clearly ok.

Well, now you know miscarriage is something not to lie about. Just be supportive.

The good thing is even though I doubted her secretly. Outwardly I was supportive of her and she was appreciative. Now I’ll continue to support her.
