Should I delete my brother off of every social media?

Before you're telling me that family is family. I get that. We aren't all going to be perfect in everybody's eyes. For years now, I never got a close relationship with my brother. He's married to a women who does NOT get along with my family. Who disrespects my family. So forth. My brother is STUCK! We can't do anything about it.. I have a niece who I never see too. I don't even know what she really looks like anymore, and it's sad.. My mom was excited to have a grand baby, but we all can't see her! Anyways.. For the longest time, my brother hasn't really been my brother. My birthday passed. He never said Happy Birthday to me. For his birthdays, I've always said Happy Birthday. He never talks to my mom anymore. He avoids all of us..

Should I just delete my brother? My family is telling me I'll never hear the end of it..

I don't believe I'm toxic. But I believe I'm toxic to his wife. When you don't like my family, and you push my brother away from us. Yeah, I'm NOT going to like you. When his wife is around, I keep my mouth shut. Never talk to her. My energy in the room is clear and known with everybody.

Just as his wife has pushed your brother away from his family she is his wife... Will you push him away from his family too because of his wife?
Acceptance is the key here... Acceptance of his wife doesn't mean you have to like her. It means for your brothers sake you put up with her. Be the shinning star that everyone sees and hopefully wishes upon and joins you in that same acceptance... Someone has to take the first step in bringing your family together instead of tearing it further apart.

im not gonna tell you what to do but i do believe we have to separate from toxic people even if thats a hard choice and the toxic being family

This is how domestic violence start by separating you from others from their friends and family. So I’d be careful.

I'd say no. Doesn't sound like your problem is with your brother, so I don't see what punishing him accomplishes. You don't like his wife. Leave it at that.
