What should I do about my friendship situation?

I avoided befriending the educated people in my church and university because I did not feel comfortable being around people with really high standards but my uneducated friends are so incredibly stupid! On e weighs 350 pounds from eating too much and than wastes all her money on make up and clothes to feel beautiful when she won’t stop gorging on food and actually says no when I tell her to buy nutritious food instead of make up and clothes, another borrowed $10,000 dollars to bribe a guy into dating her when she weighed 300 pounds from eating too much and than her welfare mom and minimum wage dad had to pay off her debt, another one flunked out of three colleges and told me my university degree is worthless but married a rich man by sleeping with him and every time I have an opinion that is different from hers, she gets angry and tells me my opinion is wrong and she’s too stupid for her opinion to be better than mine every time we disagree, and another flunked out of high school and keeps trying to date me and a third guy constantly brags about his disability and than asks you for money and he takes the taxi to McDonald’s because he is too lazy to walk 14 minutes in the summer time to get to the restaurant. I had a lot of smart people try to be my friend too but I rejected them because I did not feel comfortable around them and now all my friends are stupid.

Well, there is one constant in all the friendships you have and even the ones you don't have or feel you missed out on and that is you. You attempt to help the over eater by letting her know that there are healthier alternatives to no avail. Now I'm not sure who is worse well I do but the friend that paid someone to date her did her a disservice. it was never real.

The friend that married the rich guy isn't your friend if you can't express yourself without being told you're wrong or it being frowned upon. Real friends will value your opinion and support you in your endeavors instead of telling you it's a waste of time.

The friend that keeps trying to date you actually wants more than to just date you if he is persistent after you've told him to kick rocks.

The friend with the disability is simply lazy and seems to use the disability as an excuse instead of motivation.

What you need to do is stop selling yourself short. Those "smart" people put clothes on just as you do and do all the basic that that you do. They chose a different path and worked hard for it. They may have more education but the bottom line is they have heartbeats and blood flowing through thier body just as you.. Don't ever put yourself down and don't ever let anyone make you feel like you are below them or less than the human being that they are. We all can't be rich and we all didn't get the education. One thing we all are... human. hold your head up and be proud of who you are. If people don't like you for the person you are, then you do not need them in your life. Period.
