Two-part question For me, it really depends on who I’m with, but I’m usually someone who gets everyone laughing several times throughout our time together. I don’t tell any dark or distasteful jokes, rather, say things that are more playful and things that are obviously made to elicit a humorous response. Sometimes, people don’t always laugh at things because they are so funny, rather, laugh at them because it is what the social situation calls for. I believe it’s a natural and instant roux thing in social situations. As humans, we can just pick up on social cues and act accordingly. Most of the time though, I think I’m just funny 😎 For the second part, yes, I talk about politics as well as any other topic. Of course, you really have to feel the situation out and determine what you can and can’t talk about, as well as to what extreme or extent. It is somewhat of a social ART.
