What can I do to stop feeling hurt when someone thinks I’m weird?

Anonymous
Ever since elementary school, people have thought of me as weird throughout high-school, even work. I’ve grown up to get used to being called weird, but sometimes it gets to me because I don’t understand what I’m ever doing wrong. Yes, sometimes I understand that I may not act like the typical person whether it’s because I have these moments where I have high burst of energy and say, and do whatever but it’s not all the time and never with the intent of being strange. Yet, there’s something I always seem to do that results in me getting called “weird” by someone. I know I’m normal like everyone else, but to think that I’ve been called weird almost all my life hurts.
