I'll go with a couple memories from early childhood:
Swimming a lot in my neighbor's pool with other kids.

When I was young, maybe 5, the first time my family went camping was to Yosemite. I enjoyed the camping experience. I loved being in the wilderness for the first time.
Some kids caught a gopher snake and I got to hold it. I was fascinated by snakes but had never touched one before.
We went to the park dump to see the bears that would rummage there and saw some bears up close. No fences, just a ranger standing by to stop people from doing stupid things like feeding the bears and taking selfies. Yosemite closed the dump in 1970 due to too many people getting injured.
We saw the Firefall off of Half Dome. That was discontinued several years later in 1968.
The entertainment by a ranger around a camp fire in the evening was fun. I still remember the words he taught us to the song "Row, row, row your boat".
Propel, propel, propel your craft
Languidly down the liquid solution
Ecstatically, ecstatically, ecstatically, ecstatically
Life is but an illusion

When I was 6, I enrolled in the Indian Guides. On one outing, we went to the Indian Village at Knott's Berry Farm. A "real live Indian" in authentic Sioux ceremonial attire initiated us inside a real teepee.
When he asked me what Indian name I would choose, for some reason I said Red Eagle. He looked surprised and then said that was his name. Then he gave me two real eagle feathers. One of them was dyed red.
This was at a time when cowboy and Indian and cavalry versus Indian TV shows and movies were still popular and Indians were portrayed as savages. I thought Indians were cool, though, and felt honored by the Native American man - the first I had ever met. In a way, he was like a good-will ambassador, gradually changing "white" kids' perceptions.
This was two years before possession of eagle feathers was illegal.

my friend's laughter... and how that was the one thing that would give me joy and happiness and made me feel alive, well connected to someone
that's still one of my most precious memories ever in my whole life, not just from my childhood... but yes, we happened to be just kids at the time
When my family was driving cross country we stopped at this RV park. It was really pretty. It was shaded by really big trees and there was a rushing river near it that you could walk too (you could also raft in it but we didn't do that). Me, my little brother and a bunch of other kids who were there were blowing bubbles together and eventually started trying to catch them and eat them. They didn't taste good but it was fun. When we went back to the RV me and my brother watched Big Top Scooby Doo. I was so fucking afraid of the Werewolves in it, I thought one was under the bed and would grab me and pull me under if I got out.
Another one is when we stopped at a group of people watching the stars and watched with them. There was this old man there and he came up to me and my brother and asked if we wanted to see a magic trick. We said yes and he pulled off his finger and put it back on. We've tried doing that trick long after.
This is what the werewolves looked like
My first Christmas in America with my mother. It was around 2004, I couldn’t sleep that Christmas Eve because I was so excited. I got up exactly at midnight since it was technically Christmas and opened all the presents under the tree addressed to me. Maybe 15 minutes later, my older brother snuck down the hall and gave me his present and we stayed up playing. (This is really cute because he was like 28 at the time.) It was the first time I ever got presents and I didn’t realise how special it would feel. I don’t get presents anymore but I will always remember that night :)

My basketball team won a championship in middle school, and I hit the game winning shot and won the MVP award. I remember feeling like I'd become a superstar in the NBA one day. That day never came haha but that amazing memory will never be forgotten.
Playing with my little brother before we lost our house. Used to ride the laundry basket down the stairs, completely fuck up the living room and clean it up right before our parents came home, we used to pretend we were the characters in our favorite shows. Sometimes we made up some pretty stupid games too.
Most of my other memories from my childhood kinda suck to be honest.Lol not many but ones that do stand out.
Queueing for tickets at Newcastle City Hall for concert tickets, going to the gig, the atmosphere going, the atmosphere coming back on bus or if we walked back. Would be about 20 of us.
Camping in Northumberland with the same crowd above.I remember my first day in foster care. In the morning, my mom took me to breakfast and I was five years old. I only have one or two good memories from when I was that age and from what I am told by other people is that they remember 1 or no memories at all from that age so I am lucky. My mom started explaining to me about my father’s death and how she couldn’t keep me because she was too unstable. I didn’t understand what she was telling me but I never thought that would be the last time I ever talked to her. There was a feeling of betrayal but I couldn’t explain to her how I felt because I was totally speechless.
Similar to the picture. A bunch of families had cabins on the lake during summer and every Saturday night we'd have a huge bonfire. Each family had to tell a story or sing a song. It's where I learned the "On Top of Spaghetti" song.

I have fond memories of playing video games with my brother after school, going to Gypsy fairs with my dad on weekends, travelling the country with my mother and step dad, staying with my sister once a month in another town while she was away at university - she’d let me stay up all night and eat junkfood and watch movies together, and talk to me about her assignments.
riding horses and 4 wheelers all day with my friends and having a picnic under the Huge Oak tree by the creek where our moms would leave a picnic lunch for us. and a swim in the creek afterwards or riding our horses in the creek it would usually only be like 2 to 3 feet deep.
I think it would have been my trip to Vancouver with my parents cause we went whale watching and I saw a family of whales following our ferry boat to the island and my parents got me this gorgeous souvenir pen that I loved so much and I developed feelings for a guy I hung out with during my vacation before Vancouver so I thought about him during the entire trip and I visited a large suspension bridge which I absolutely loved and the ferry boat was nice too.
I don't have one! My childhood was filled with rage and mistreatment, but the only thing that made me feel good was watching my favorite shows, listening to my music, playing video games, and drinking alcohol. Sweets helped me relax as well!
The times we went to amusement parks and when my former classmates and I were always playing with each other. We had a pretty crazy connection or bond lol.
I used to love buying new school stationary. Every now and then I used to collect unnecessary stationary items and would love to carry them to school.
Swimming off of one of the Hawaiian islands with a huge coral reef and wild giant green sea turtles all around me it was fantastic.
The day my father finally saw the ghost himself and apologized to me and my mother for calling us crazy.
My favorite memory when I was a kid was going to the park. I use to love going down the slides and playing on the monkey bars. It was fun. I use to Chase my brother and sisters and they'll Chase me. We stayed there till it got midnight. Now I don't do that any more.
Me too! Mainly all the parties my mom threw at our house with her best friends and their kids.. Bonfires and flashlight tag, music and camping.. getting snowed in with all of them and sledding.. just being a wild crazy kid..
All the times I spent with my friends in the summer.
Lots of good and bad hard to pick just one. I have to say just being together hanging out with my best friend. You know the one so close they dont even have to finish their sentence.
The 80's going to Doluth and Rochester and loving the 80's with my mom.
