I'm (white girl) hated by my fiance's black parents, is this racism too right?

We haven't been with anyone else, both of us are virgins and we're looking forward towards our wedding this October. I don't fit the norm of the girls that sleep around. Then again, I've socialized with people of different background and races from an early age. My parents have several friends of different cultures. We live in a mixed community full of blacks, hispanics, Asians, etc.

Here is the big issue:
My family like my boyfriend and are happy with us but his parents HATE me. Shockingly when he introduced me to them the first time, they greeted me in a cold and indifferent manner. They didn't smile at all. I didn't feel good in that house and had to make an excuse to leave after only being there for 40 minutes.

If a white person has been respectful but the hatred is coming from the black person, is this racism too? Can blacks really be racists? I'm really shocked. I've never experienced this treatment before. They really hate me for no reason. I have done nothing to them.

I think a lot of people, black or white, from a much earlier time are still set in their ways towards the other race. His parents and family probably just see white as the enemy, regardless of the content of the person's character, because of everything black people have gone through in history. Blacks have been treated like less than dogs, so an automatic response of them having their guard up is understandable, but you being treated with contempt isn't, especially if your intentions are purely good.

I've heard it disagreed among many that it's racism, but it will almost always be considered "reverse-discrimination".

Unfortunately there are a lot of unnecessarily harsh, and disgusting people on the web who say whatever they want, because there aren't any concrete consequences. I have a friend whose mother is white. He has had African Americans say he isn't "black enough". When his father is from Nigeria he's "more black" than these African Americans (/generations of mixed ancestry & little authentic African culture now).

It is and isn't something you see so rampant in African countries and other African groups in other countries, say the UK for example, and I blame general American ignorance & racism for such. When it comes building a serious relationship of this racial make-up, I've seen the African American family often being unaccepting, regardless of the genders. There are particular belief systems and interactions that are not able to be had in peace or at least have contention. They want in-laws of the same tribe so they can be racist behind closed doors or don't want to consider being open-minded. As long as the couple treats each other well and is supportive of one another, it shouldn't matter. Mulatto children still are lobbed in with being "black in America" and must wrestle with that identity, as well as, not seeing the "advantage of being white". Just like white on black racism, you have to take in other factors as well. This is why politics inflame this. But like last week, I was home every single day except Friday.

My team provides onsite support. I do mostly offsite at this point. Maybe that will change. But I do have an office. And you can come and clean it.
