A man drops off his 5-year-old child to daycare never to return. Turns out the wife cheated, had another man's kid, then ditched the kid with the 'father' (who isn't actually the father). Tough situation, but the one that really pays for it is the kid.
This is why we need mandatory paternity testing... it would protect everyone but the cheating mother, who is the ONLY one being protected under the current system.
As it stands right now:
- The man who is lied to about a child being his when he/she isn't, is a victim of the mother for obvious reasons.
- The real father is a victim of the mother because he may never get to know his child, or at a minimum is robbed of precious years with his son or daughter.
- The child is a victim of his/her mother because he/she may never get to know his/her real father, or at a minimum is robbed of precious years with him.
Paternity fraud is incredibly common. But isn't it nice to know it's not men who are discriminated against in society today? Lol

It is the mother. She needs to do a dime behind bars.

probably the woman.
the kid (s) are the victim and that was wrong way to do it.
I recall hearing a story like this in college and the professor (female) dind't care even acknowledge the mans' feelings. I felt terrible for the man.
Sad.. sin creates suffering.
I don't think people can really imagine just how devastating it is for the father to learn that everything he cherished up until that point was a lie. That child will be nothing but a reminder of that lie..
The man who ditched the kid has a duty to see the child is back with a family member before jetting. Yes, the kid is the one that pays the the mother should do jail time because of her paternity fraud.
both are at fault... clearly, does not have to be just one of them
The mother, she shouldn't have played with the kid like she did.
The person that wasn’t the real dad had a responsibility to pick up the child that was in his care
I can understand why people would argue both, BUT the situation would have been avoided if the mother wasn't a deceitful slut... I'm going to say the mother.
Where did the woman go? I feel like he should have taken her to court after she disappeared. Isn't that a crime - abandoning your child? Couldn't they have put a warrant out for her arrest?
