Why I hate my parents?

I’m 17 years old and my parents treat me like I’m a child. My dad has locks on the tv, locks on the thermostat, and he doesn’t like me wearing crop tops or skirts. I keep begging my mom for a naval piercing and she’s like I’ll think about and other times she’s like no. She said I can get a cartilage piercing. It’s so annoying and I’m tired of them babying me.

I understand why parents don't want their children to get piercing but really... Locks on TV and other things is really out of bounds... I'm a bit speechless about this, why not go for some serious talk with them? Hating them won't solve the problem but just ruin your parent-child relationship.

Be grateful that they are alive imagine your life without them and see how things would be and these things will look petty.

But childlock on tv lol really it's a bit funny what did you do? Their might be a reason for that?

About peircing please don't get your navel peirced it will hurt and may be infect as well

Sorry but besides the tv being locked that is 90% of dads and one day your dad will be gone all gou gotta do is hang in there til your 18 and do what we all did lie, sneek out, or change after yoh leave for the nite I dont know your dad but I bet he would take a bullet for you without thinking about it just be happy he is there at all
