I don't know why but I constantly feel like I have a family to take care of and if I make any major mistakes it can negatively impact them. Also, I have worked a ton of hours ever since I turned 16 like 16 to 17 was 12-20 hours and after that 18+ has been 40+ hours. Like I just always feel a ton of pressure and that I am living on such a thin line and I haven't done anything bad like anything to break the law bad. But it gets annoying when my friend at work is the same age and does a whole lot of stuff and I can't do any of it. I guess it's a good thing when it comes to alcohol and drugs. But can any of you relate?

He is the same age and does what more than you at work? Like is getting trained on more things... Do you feel tired and need a vacation? Also your a dad and husband or are you talking family like mom, dad and siblings...
I mean like more outside work stuff like some drinking, partying, etc. But we are trained on the same stuff. And by family I mean my mom day and sibilings.
Oh I see, do you feel like you are missing out? Why do you feel so much pressure though? Is your family relying on you for most of the house bills...
Like that’s the thing I’m not a dependent for anything when it comes to bills like groceries or anything else. It just feels like a pressure to do better than everyone else I think. But when it comes to drinking and pills and all that I don’t think I’m missing out but on trips to other countries and states yes for sure
Yeah maybe you should start focusing on making some memories. If they are not depending on you than take the load off and plan a fun trip with a friend or by yourself. Money comes and goes. I agree you aren't missing much on getting high off drugs and doing stupid stuff. There's always pressure to be better to earn more to have this and to have that, and that's why I deactivated my social media and by that I mean IG and Facebook because I don't go on this website too much, i does help. It's like there's always competition and I don't mean you, just in general. It's good to have goals and be better than you were yesterday but when it comes to having fun try to set some time for that. All work and no fun will start draining you
plus to add to this, don't compare yourself to others. You need to give yourself more credit, it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders and for such a young person you sound very mature. If that guy is drinking and partying good for him, you find things that make you happy, pick up a hobby or something. Learn something new and get out there more. Find people/hang around people that will add value to your life. You don't have to drink and party to have fun :)
