Do you ever think about how much longer your parents will be around?

I have been thinking about this recently.

My mom and dad were 36 and 34 when I was born so it is likely I have less time with them then a person my age who’s parents were 25.

They are 69 and 67 now and I am 33.
It is likely in 15 years they won’t be here anymore.

Do you ever think about this soft of thing.

My parents were around 40 when they had me and my twin brother. i am not even sure that they wanted kids. They have both been dead for a few years now.

Not really. I know that they have more behind them than they do in front of them, but that's about it.

No, not at all. They could be dead for all I know. The last time I saw them was 18 years ago.

My parents abandoned us when I was 12. I saw them one more time when I was 16 and lost all contact after that.

I am over it now, but it was very rough for a few years.

I think about it often. My parents are sixty and fifty five respectively.
