My friend and other friend go out to drink all the time. Once or twice every week and binge drink. My friend had thyroid surgery a month ago and has thyroid cancer and a brain tumor and issues with her heart. I don’t think drinking alcohol every week is going to help her and her issues have been getting worse. What should I do I care about her? I feel like my other friend cares about a good time with her and not my friends actual health.
For me, I don't think your friends are ready to change the weekly drink routine, so you start the change. Invite her to hang around in different places other than the bar. I'm sure there are some places worth visiting

I think your friend is probably going to die either way. Why not drink? Make those last moments pleasant. What do you want her to do? Lay in bed all day and do crosswords?

Is the brain tumor something they can operate on? If she's going to die then you might as well let her live it up while she still can
Talk to her about it; In the end she might prioritize something other than her health and that's a valid option.
Wow. ... she is killing herself at a rapid pace.. i hope you can convince her to stop.
Is she taking chemo?
