I loved my grandpa a lot.
When he passed, I wanted to give him the one last love touch, but I didn’t want to kiss him, because I wanted my lips to have a memory of his warm cheeks, instead I rubbed my forehead onto his forehead and that was my goodbye kiss.
Before I came to China, I went to his grave and once all of my family members left, I sat by his grave and quietly sang him a mellow song that we both loved singing when he was alive.
The sweetest moment was that, my brother came to me, he sat next to me and we sang for him together, very quietly. So that only two of us could hear.
That felt very nice.
I made a promise that I will keep this tradition every time I go there.
