Why do people blame abuse survivors?

I live in an apartment with my husband and 2 children (3 and 5). My upstairs neighbors are very very nice, in their mid 20’s with no children.
Unfortunately I have noticed that you can hear them from my sons’s bedroom and can hear them being intimate.
They aren’t screaming or being obnoxious at all but you can still hear the faint moaning/breathing. My sons have noticed and are asking what it is.. Even imitated the noises at daycare..

I don’t want to get anyone into trouble with the apartment manager or embarrass anyone, but I don’t know what to do?

You titled your question about abuse survivors but then go on to tell us about the sex your son hears from your neighbors. You're either trolling by using that title as a disguise for your twisted question and trying to draw people to it, or you seriously have issues.

the question doesn't really match the description lol

you can move your son to another room

you can silence his room with special wallpaper or more expensive stuff

you can talk to your son and explain him that people do sometimes such noises but it's rude to repeat them because it's a private thing of those people

can you switch his room to a different room, more away from the neighbors bedroom? i don't know your setup, so not sure if this suggestion will even work.
