I have two beautiful sisters. I don't think that people consider me ugly when comparing me to my sisters - just plainer, less present.

I honestly think our personalities have a lot to do with how we are viewed because at first glance I am mistaken for my younger sister frequently. Both my sisters live life with exuberance, with drama and energy. Their schedules are filled with interesting functions and evenings of friends and good times. I'm the bookworm, the mom, the one that is less exciting and introverted.

My parents were jerks - I don't know if that counts. For some reason my mother has always disliked me, so my sisters got more positive attention that I did. I wasn't special in my parents eyes and my sisters were. I don't know if our looks had anything to do with that. Did that influence how the whole world views us - probably. I do know that I am the most secure, level headed one of the three of us. And my life is filled with a quiet joy that they haven't experienced.

i have 2 older brothers. they have been compared to various actors, and they've had people telling them how goodlooking they were/are throughout their lives. I've always been the ugly duckling as compared to them so I'm the uglier sibling. I just looked awkward when I was a kid/teenager and I never really cared much. I found the opposite gender annoying so I wasn't concerned with how I looked to guys, and was pretty much a tomboy doing whatever my brothers did. now that I'm older with money to spend on brow trimmings/haircuts etc, I think the ugly gap between my brothers & I have lessened hahaha.

As for me, we hardly do anything like this in our family, but my mother usually says that my sister has the beauty and I have the brain. Not sure if I'm considered uglier with this. Furthermore - my sister is 7 years younger than me and you'll never know how we will look in the future.

yea same here, my mother says I'm the smarter one, I don't know what she exactly implies by that.

I generally feel I'm uglier than my sister. Granted we are different gender so the comparison is a bit tougher to make, but I've had people say it before. Not that I'm necessarily ugly, but she's not more attractive on a relative basis than me.

It effects me in the sense that I haven't had a ton of GF's. I'm been for the most part, unlucky in the dating department, yet my sister has been in a relationship for most of her adult life. She just got out of a 3yr relationship and now has about 3 different guys chasing her.

We're also a very short family. My sister is only about 4'11 and I'm only 5'4. Naturally her height doesn't effect her but it does me. being 5'4 eliminates a large percentage of women where as my sister doesn't have that same problem.

I'm the uglier sibling out of me and my older brother. Nobody ever said that, they say we look nothing a like though. He naturally has a nice build and nice skin and better features then me. We are both in are twenties. I'm taller by about two inches, that is all I got on him. How does this affect me? It doesn't really, I still treat my brother like my brother, I still love him. My parents or anyone in my family had nothing to do with it, I created this in my head and come up with my conclusion myself.

My mother was one of those women that tons of guys wanted. I recall times as a young child when guys would just stop to stare at her as she walked. My father on the hand is your basic average Joe. My sister and I took after my mother, and my brother took after my father. Looking different didn't affect us, because my brother was proud to tell people that we were his younger siblings. Now he is very successful and confident person. Now I kind of wish that I had his attributes.

I broke my virginity when I was 14 and my living brother was 25, my sister was married for 14 years after only one boyfriend, my other brother died kind of young. I have had quite a few lovers, maybe more than you could believe.

Not based on looks. Why would they do that? =S My family knows my talents/skills/knowledge, and they will likely ask me for help with certain things before they ask my brothers, but they ask them for help with certain things as well.

For example I just met my little brother and my mother and father for lunch about an hour ago. My dad needed some help with a computer problem. I fixed it and he took me to lunch. The waitress was a little flirty with me, and a number of the other waitresses kept

passing the table and stealing glances at me even though the place was mostly empty. My dad noticed, smiled and blushed a little bit, but didn't say anything.

They always see when girls are checking me out or flirting with me and they kind of giggle a little bit about it but they never say anything. =)

They never ever compared any of us to each other based on looks. They do comment on things we are good at. Like my little brother gets crazy jealous whenever I show any of my drawings to my mom. She's like wow, you did that. Look at this to my little brother and he gets all jealous about it because he can't do anything close to what I can. =P
