Why is my ex boyfriend friends and family?

Me and my ex broke up a long time ago. He actually dumped me.I was just shocked that his friends kind of spied on me at stores or in the library. I know this was a coincidence. I mean why is that? Do you think my ex still talks about me after all this this time? I have even been with friends and they witness my ex's friends spying on me. I just saw his brother and stepfather today at the train station and his step dad just looked at me. At first his brother did not see me. I quickly looked away when I saw my ex's brother.Next thing you know I looked up his brother was literally starring at me with a long stare which was so obvious. I mean his brother was starring at me just standing.It was so weird. Thoughts?

Spying is so childish, but that's what they seem to be doing. Your ex might be talking about you to them, and they are curious. Especially if you weren't around them very much when ya'll were dating. Makes you want to say to them, "Hey, take a picture, it'll last longer."

I was always around his family. I just don't understand. I really don't want to see them again.

I understand cause I'm going through the same thing. I love the family, but they are feeling uncomfortable with my presence, so maybe the family you want to be close to is also feeling a little uncomfortable when you come around. It sucks, but if they are pulling away, other words less emails, less phone calls, then they don't want you around. Even though you was always around. It's different now, trust me.
