OI see men wearing kilts at public events on occasion and no one laughs at them. However, there are differing societal expectations for men and women. Do you really want to have the exact same expectations and standards for men and women?
that isn't true, it depends on how good you can pull it off. There are some cross-dressers that look extremely good in a dress They won't get laugh at but if you cross-dress badly, everyone will think it's funny
The thing about the Bible was from the Old Testament. When Jesus was born we came unto the New Testament (rules) which is why we can wear pants and eat shrimp and what not
haha from where i'm from men wearing "Skirts" is very common but then again i'm from the islands but i feel even men anywhere should have the right to wear a skirt or dress if its common in the island why can't it be common every where else?
Think about Adam and Eve. Adams rib created Eve. Eve being from man. So when I think about it. Women are the universal. Women also created from man. Which brought down from today means that in any clothing store you go to, there is a vast variety of women's clothing. The evolution of mens clothing has not been discovered and it might not ever go past tshirts, plaid, stripes or solids. Hopefully that helps😀
Femininty is seen as weak, so a woman wearing masculine clothing might gain more respect, while a man wearing feminine clothing is seen as more weak like women and most men don't want to be seen as weak. Sad actually, but to me clothes are just clothes, nobody should care that much.
Not Being offensive really But is someone really gonna Listen to a very old Book on What to wear? wear What Ya want And What You feel comfortable in. Besides Jesus wore a dress So there Is that
men should be able to wear dresses and skirts but people are so judgmental you won't be able to get far without being told to put jeans on since being sexist is normal I guess even though it shouldn't be
If you subtract the platform heels off the heel heights... all the gerls will end up a true 3 or 4 inches... definitely never 6 inches an 5 inch is limit for any foot... so if you look at any more high heels n you subtract platform off the heel height they'll be in the 3 or 4 inch range... so if I have a 6 inch heels with 1 1/2 platform then uts true heel height is 4.5 inches
No, because I don't like dresses myself. And if I do wear a dress it's gotta be special, like have an open back, actually be a long shirt or something.
Yes but who set those as that? In China in the 12th century, men with 4" long fingernails were considere masculine and most women today would never date a man with extremely long fingernails. See how the current times plays into how people think about things?
Yes but every cultural change doesn't mean that it is sexier to follow or better. Wouldn't you date a man with 6" long fingernails if he had a great personality? Wouldn't that be an issue to most women because they are bound to the current situation with what's trendy or traditional?

Because masculinity is fragile and most men would feel horrible in feminie clothing. Hence they make fun of the concept.
Feminine*
The same way women used to get laughed at for wearing pants, eh?
I guess?

I love a man in a kilt honestly, but that might be bc I'm scottish, but its 2k17, people are starting to embrace differences more and more
I own a kilt but not because I'm Scottish. I'm daring and eccentric.
Noice ๐
Actually our traditional clothes for men "Chokha" looks like a dress but I find men in Chokha verryy sexy
Link me an example.
Watch these videos and pay attention to the men's clothes

Would you go out as in seeing him, if he wore a dress?
I won't laugh-promise. As long as you make that dress look good, I say "go for it". Ready to tackle the high heels now?
High heels are so easy to walk In
@Firesparks Been practicing?
No actually I took to them like a duck to water... I have a lot of 5 to 6 inch , Iots of high heels
@Firesparks Good for you! 6"? Wow!, I'm impressed. Even I don't go that high.
Oh why not? what inches do you have to wear
@Firesparks 4" or 5" is usually my limit. Anything more is uncomfortable and stretching the boundaries of my good taste, but to each their own!
That is cool... I would massage your feet if I saw you wearing them

Lol why am i being invited to answer old questions? Lol
Because I'm not closing question until at least 100 women answer it.
You can wear whatever you want. I really dont care lol
As others have stated. women dont get as much respect as men. Gay men are often teased for being effeminate too.
Because people think it's degrading to be a girl. If a boy wants to wear skirt then he should be able to
OMG!!! I love this site makes me realize how many people live with their heads in the clouds! Bahahahahaha
But boys wore dresses too. Up until the age of five, so they'd be easier to change.
Yeah but that ended around 1910.
Yeah and we've not been wearing pants for long either. Fashion comes and goes.
I'm afraid this one won't come and go though. Many fashions are becoming established as society advances.
Who cares? If you want to wear a dress do so.
Yeah but would you have a dress wearing boyfriend? Why or why not?
No, because I don't like dresses myself. And if I do wear a dress it's gotta be special, like have an open back, actually be a long shirt or something.
women have basically made it a sin to criticize a woman's choice of style in any forum. but for men you have to be "men" and "man up".
I wear kilts and short shorts. Am I a real man?
yeah
Because femininity is considered a weak while masculinity is considered strong.
Yes but who set those as that? In China in the 12th century, men with 4" long fingernails were considere masculine and most women today would never date a man with extremely long fingernails. See how the current times plays into how people think about things?
considered, I meant to type.
Its a cultural thing.
And culture changes with time.
Yes but every cultural change doesn't mean that it is sexier to follow or better. Wouldn't you date a man with 6" long fingernails if he had a great personality? Wouldn't that be an issue to most women because they are bound to the current situation with what's trendy or traditional?
No I don't like 6" nails on women either its just creepy. ๐
Mine are over 3 inches on my left hand.
I don't know its just the way things are and it fits, it worked all this time
So you just accept whatever as whatever?
I know I wear women's clothing idgaf ab what somebody else wears as long as its not my guy that's doing it
Why can you cross dress but he can't cross dress?
Nvr said I wanted to
So you only wear dresses and never pants?
