I really like feminine women. And one of the ways in which women distinguish themselves from men is grooming. Attention to hair and skin care, effort into choosing cute clothes, making their hair pretty, and applying makeup.
I don't think it's necessary to wear makeup every hour of every day. That might be a sign that she is insecure about her natural appearance. But I'm charmed and flattered when a girl puts effort into her appearance for a date, or when my lady wants to look attractive for me.
I'm turned off by gaudy makeup. Big, fake eye lashes; obvious eye liner and eye shadow; overly accented lips; etc. are kind of grotesque. I prefer the clean, fresh, girl-next-door look. But subtle, tasteful make up can make a woman glow. It can conceal shadows, even out her skin tones, and accentuate her eyes and lips.
I basically don't like anything that looks fake or too gaudy. Nicely manicured and polished nails are delightful. But I hate fake nails. I hate lip injections. I'm turned off by plastic surgery.
Looking her best and fussing over details without looking like she tried too hard is a skill. And it shows impeccable taste.
So I very much appreciate girls who put a lot of effort into their appearance.
AppearanceWomen put in a lot of Unnecessary effort into their Appearance. Most of what they do goes completely Unnoticed and so we wait for an hour or two for them to leave the bathroom and we’re like WTF did you doooo? You brushed hair and put on a little makeup? How did that take an hour?
Later in an argument we discover they did other things as well we just don’t care enough to notice.
Putting effort into their appearance is much more appreciated by me. Especially since women these days rarely do so. I see sweatpants, crop tops, and other overly casual clothing more often than a well-put-together outfit these days.
I like girls that aren't obsessed too much over makeup or looks, I don't like women who put on many layers of makeup. I'm more attracted to feminine traits of a woman, like gentleness, thoughtfulness and kindness.
I also strongly dislike long fingernails, seems like many women have those, instant turnoff
I think girls who spend time making themselves glamorous attracts guys. Most likely, ones who are impressed by girlie Girls and would find pleasure having on e of that Kind by their side.
If she looks cute to me then I dont care that much but I do prefer a more natural look with subtle makeup personally.
It's a good thing unless you're in a hurry. Depends on the situation. If you're going out to grab a quick bite for lunch. I don't want to wait an hour for you to put your makeup on.
I prefer a natural look. I've often told my girlfriends I like the way they look without makeup and try to emphasize it to the point where they don't wear it as much unless they want to.
I respect anyone who puts effort into their appearance, but I'd prefer it if they''d do so without makeup and show their true self.
i would asssume they are rather superficial, which would make me less interested in them. i mean it's a different story if it's a special event.
I prefer casual over narcissitic. No more than 5-10 minutes on that crap.
Time and place for everything. Taking it easy on a regular day and putting in some effort when going out seems good to me.
