If yes, how often?
You have to understand that when i had some work they make you try this on that on look good in this and not that etc.
A girl I know, who was so into me maximizing my appearance, got invited over to cook me some "home" Greek food etc...15 minutes in kitchen, I'm wrapped up in spinach dough and throwing thin sheet... that have to be wet etc in between dough, and "your closet upstairs" and without permission terrorized my closet... I could hear her but was stuck in spinach stuff. She came back down and did something with the lamb medallions... After dinner, "go look at what I did"... already killed bottle of cab but there she was with filled glasses...2 minutes behind me.
Now, shit she did not like were items, I got at cost from shoots. Market price shoes were 2500 in Boston or NYC, new market expensive ass dress shirts... one silk !! Went through the whole thing rearranged, slid all the ones not liked far to right. Kept 4 pair of jeans-got my stretch t-shirts to hang now, very traditional pin stripped suit, Plain ties and shirts I hadn't won in 5 years and black and camel colored p-coat... no scarfs, to the floor wool coat-all to the right. It was "Nice" from there on... It is what it is but around clothes since 12... it didn't seem odd.

Nah. You just have to own it and be confident. People bug you more if you let them get to you anyways, why give them the satisfaction?
My boyfriend once made comments about how he didn't like when I wore my hair in pigtails and he also didn't like when I would wear tutus when though it made me happy and I felt cute but he said it was childish so it's been 4 years now and I haven't even touched a tutu because I don't want him to think I'm childish...
My mom threw out a very attractive outfit that I loved because after wearing it for 12 years, there was a little bit of seam damage at the fringes. I hate how my parents don't respect my right to make my own choices. I'm not even allowed to choose what I eat for dinner.

Not to my knowledge. When I wore shorts that didn’t cover my knees, a schoolmate said they were for girls, although I’ve seen men wearing such shorts. When I wore a shirt with a blue hexagram on it, my stepfather said that some might be antisemitic, but I still wore it, even to masjid (in there, people thought I was observant Jew, so I had to explain that I reverted). I once found an awesome pair of purple slacks, and people said they could see the shape of my private. The only problem I really had was with my mum. She took a shirt and used it as a rag (without even letting me upcycling it) and other silly rubbish.
Not a chance. I get weird looks sometimes due to my 1920s/1940s outfits. My vintage style usually causes me to be much more dressed up than everyone around me. In a sea of hoodies, sweatpants, yoga pants, etc I'm the guy in vintage suits. No matter the sneers, glares or comments I'll still do my own thing because I couldn't care less.
I've gotten way more positive comments anyway. If somebody wants to give me a hard time because I'm wearing something let them give me a hard time if I don't care it's going to go in one ear and out the other if I think about it and I think that they might be right I might change what I'm wearing and not wear it again if I can see their point but most of the time I'm not going to see their point because I'm being me and I like being me
Nope.
I get enough attention with the way I look as it is, so it doesn't make much of a difference.
Often times, I'm in public with a pair of leggings (no shorts) to get to the gym and if people don't like that too bad for them.
There's not a lot I can do about people who stare, but if people say shit, I'll do it back, as it's none of their business how I dress.
I stopped wearing tank tops, or at least have to really think about it before going out in public wearing one. Everybody seems to think it's ok to comment on the Playboy bunny tattoos on my arms.
It gets pretty old, as there is nothing I can do about them, and I don't want to sit there and sweat all the time
Totally no
In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could comment on my question.
No. Not even for my wife.
What I wear, I choose to wear as an extension of my skin.
I have a hat my wife hated because she thinks people will think I'm a "Boer". I don't care. I like it because it has a wide brim. I may eventually get a good fedora but not today.
I was a biker. Leather waistcoat, jeans, boots, Harley. Hair I could sit on and a beard I could tuck in my belt. I still have those clothes. I still sometimes wear them.No. Nobody has really made random comments on my clothes and if I don’t ask for it. Then you better not tell me.
But if you ask a question. Make sure you want the truth or don’t askIn the early nineties when I was sixty or so pounds heavier, I wore Garth Brooks cowboy shirts. I was the only black man so attired, but aside from a few side eyes, I got no pushback, even from other black folk. I still have a black Wranglers shirt, befitting my "Cowboy" nickname.
I said no, but maybe once in the last forty years I did. I love Hawaiian shirts. A gay friend told me a lavender colored one might send a message, so I got rid of it.
I am my own fashion and I make my own statement.
I don't give a hoot about what others might say about my clothes.
Nope, if people are going to talk, they are going to talk. Might as well give them something to say.
Because i care what people thinks of me and i would do anything for them to stop making comments.
I do what want. Even this...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/N87DEVdhgUUNo I care little about what others have to say about what I'm wearing.
From strangers/friends I usually get only compliments. But my family tells me directly what suits me and what doesn't. Sometimes I consider their opinion.
Not necessarily given up but cut way down on it.
So far, just once. No, cause' I can wear all the hoodies and sweaters I want lmao
No, I'll wear what I've bought irrespective of what others say as I have never followed 'fashion trends' and tend to buy timeless basics.
nope i think Levis and tea shirts never go out of style smiles.
