Well I just found out he's seeing some girl and we were supposed to go out and he blew me off.

I generally loved my ex and I promised a lot of things and I did so because I was young and in love. He is very immature, inconsiderate and disrespectful and he hurt an innocent lady. IMO, the best revenge is to cut him, let him know you don't need him and find someone better.
