I just got out of a relastionship where I was dragged along by a girl who enjoyed my attention. I really don't want to go through that again.
This new girl I'm getting to know and flirt with has just been complimenting me on my nice personality and has been thanking me for being understanding. I'd like to know if that is just her way of saying she is not attracted to me but enjoys my company. Or maybe she just sees that as what she likes and my looks don't matter that much to her?
I'm set to hang out with her again in a few days. If things go well I was thinking of asking her out on a date. If she says no then I'll give her less attention and I will stop flatting her. I'm not going to be used as a freind again for attention.

its true. many girls dont know how but insecurity from my own experience especially if a guy isn't straightforward about how he feels or if his interested, can keep a girl from actuallu flirting cause we dont want to chase the guy or seem needy for attention or simply too forward
