He likes me but hasn't tried to have sex with me. confused?

There is this guy at work who I really like. We are really cool and he used to be in a relationship but recently they broke up. Ever since he has been flirting A LOT. He looks and smiles at me constantly, he'll do little things just to be by me, he bumps into me a lot and touches me on purpose, he laughs at everything I say, And when we talk he stands extra close to me. I THINK he likes me but won't say it. We even hung out outside of work and he'll call me every now and then to talk and I just left work, so I know he's thinking bout me.

But I'm confused I know he's having sex with other females whom he calls hoes and I know he's still single but he hasn't tried to have sex with me. I say little sexual things referring to me but he turns it down. I know he likes me but why hasn't he tried to have sex with me? He knows I like him and if he tried he could, I think he's scared because I don't come off as a hoe. I want to be with him before I have sex with him but I'm really confused on why he hasn't even tried yet?

Ditto - I think it's because he actually likes you as a person, not just sexually. He doesn't think of you as a hoe like he does other girls. I know as a guy that there are girls you just write off as sexual only - people you wouldn't want to know more than that - and girls where you want the whole shebang, because she's worth it. He probably hasn't tried yet because he doesn't know if you like him that way also, and if he takes a big risk on it and tells you what he thinks, he thinks he might screw up and he'll mess up the good thing you guys have going. If you are open to something more like a relationship, subtly let him know that - or, if you're comfortable with it, just ask him if that's what he wants.

It seems like it's because he actually likes you and doesn't just want to get some from you like he is the other girls he just dismisses as hoes.
