How to compliment a woman on her eyes without sounding weird or creepy about it?

I've met this woman with the most beautiful eyes, they look a lot like the planetary Helix nebula pictured here. Pretty blue eyes with an orange circle around it. How do I tell her that her eyes are beautiful without sounding weird about it?

Well, considering I'm a sucker for anything space-related, if you made a comparison between my eyes and an astronomical object (especially nebulae, which are extremely beautiful), I'd be very flattered.
But, for most women, to play it safe I'd say something like, "your eyes are gorgeous" or "I think you have really beautiful eyes" and if she takes that compliment well, then go on to make that comparison.
