We admitted our feelings, now what do we do?

So this guy friend of mine and I have been crushing on each other for months. Last night I stayed over at his place and we finally admitted it to each other. We stayed up all night just talking and then this morning we were cuddling and kissed for the first time. Then he asked me "So what does this all mean? Now what?" and I didn't know what to say. I mean, we're both really into each other and I'm sure that this is leading to dating but we're both really busy people and rarely see each other not to mention summer is coming up and he's going out of state all summer so starting up something now would be kinda crazy. I really like this guy and would like to start something but I'm just not sure how we should go about this. Any suggestions?

Only you can know the answer for certain, but the most-difficult relationships are the ones where people don't communicate. If you can make time for each-other, the fact that you will be away from him for the Summer won't be so terrible. It might mean some fleeting visits or a LOT of time on the phone or online, but if you have strong feelings for him, and he obviously does for you, this may be the best thing to happen to both of you.

One of the rarest and most special things you can have is a romantic relationship with a friend. It is fraught with worries, but can potentially be fantastic. If you want to take your friendship further, and it is strong enough to take it, give it a chance. It may not be easy, but nothing worthwhile ever was.

You don't have to speed this thing up into a full on relationship. As long as you spend some time together and continue to make each other happy, then that is the pace you should set. There's always skyping and texting. Not seeing each other often will strengthen the relationship. You'll appreciate the time you two actually spend together.
