My guy best friend keeps teasing, flirting and complimenting me. But all of a sudden I’m friend zoned I don't know if he likes me or if he doesn’t?

He used to always compliment me and tease me all the time and he has called me cutie and hottie quite a few times. He talks a lot about what his dream girlfriend should be like and I feel like he is describing my personality (I have given him small hints that I’m into him and stuff along the way as well) He asked me what I would want in a guy and I said someone who likes cuddles. He then proceeded to tell me that he likes cuddles and kisses and how cute he finds cuddling up with a girl straight after I sent him that. I do like him quite a bit I must admit. But all of a sudden he friend zoned me and said we are just friends. He doesn’t compliment me as much, but he still teases me, talks about his dream girlfriend and he started making dirty jokes which he never really did before. I don't know if he likes me or what and if I’m really friend zoned.
