i met this guy on instagram a few months ago and he and i just actually started talking. it started out as networking. we are both artists, i am a singer and he is a producer and he asked to work with me and i said yes. then he asked if he could facetime me so we could cook something up. the first time, we stayed on facetime for 5 hours, and maybe 30 minutes of that was about music at all. we have done this every night for about 2 weeks now and each time, we mostly talk and joke around and sometimes he likes to share his music with me which is fun. he is really talented. but i cannot tell if this is just a new friendship brewing or if he is starting to catch feelings for me. there is a bit of sexual tension on the call and he’ll ask me some personal questions about my sex life sometimes and he also likes to flirt a lot. he knows he looks like my celebrity crush and he’ll use that against me sometimes but i really cannot tell if he’s just teasing me or trying to boost his ego. any thoughts? also, i don’t know if this is important but we often stay up until 3 or 4 am on these facetime calls.

Yeah, I think he likes you more than just a friend. I love my friends, but I'm not staying up until 3-4 am for 2 weeks straight for them lol

He is interested in you as he has spent a lot of time doing this. What about work? Are you still going to work together? Just be cautious if it's only sexual. He might only use you for that and have no intention of working with you. Take breaks too, it's healthy and that way you can keep the spark alive and not let it burn out.

If it's for ego, then he is overdoing it (meaning it's likely not an ego boost needs). Sounds more like he likes you. If he wants attention and that's all, he wouldn't be so invested into seeing you and knowing you. I am sure he is just interested in you and you said you're having a good time and seems like he feels the same. If in doubt, you can always ask. There is nothing wrong with asking if he is asking you so many personal questions not related to music.
