Girls, Did you tease guys in high school like guys who were into you? If so could you explain what you did?

Like and was this guys who you are into as well or just you enjoy teasing them? Is it fun? I know I was teased by girls and liked the attention. Like some girls would give hugs just for my reaction. I can imagine the attention I gave them and that I liked it they liked in some way I mean clearly they did. At times they would outright say I'm cute.

I don't recall ever teasing any of my coeds at school. I still don't do it now because I am aware that teasing may be misunderstood and cause adverse and unwanted reactions.

As children, it is more innocent than when you are an adult because children don't tend to have deviant ideas when teasing other children. Adults are much more daring and it seems to me that when adults tease the opposite gender, there is often a sexual connotation in the teasing.

This is what I want to avoid and I don't usually talk about anything else than school related issues with the other students.

High school students are more likely to tease others with sexual innuendos and allusions or dirty jokes. That is because around that age, puberty is hitting those teenagers full blast and they only have one thing in mind.

I have always stayed away from other students I knew were not able to control themselves and I never actually teased anyone because I was fully aware at that time that teasing could be misunderstood.

No, I didn't really tease. It just wasn't my style of flirting. It works for some girls but not for me. If I liked someone, they would know it because I would smile a lot or laugh and generally flirt.

I don't consider it fun because often someone can take it the wrong way and think the person teasing is being mean. That is the last thing I would want someone that I liked to think about me. Also, I didn't really date or anything in school. I waited until university and even then it was minimal.

I was always focused on my studies since my parents paid for my education. They required certain grades of me in order to continue paying for school. So, I didn't pay much attention to the boys. Sure, I did go out on dates but nothing real serious.

I think everyone has a certain way of flirting and that just isn't my way of doing it. I have never had any problems with my own way, so I stuck with that.

Tease can be very sexually charged thing. At least socially. So we might disagree on what is meant by tease. I mean in a sort of playful way because you know or highly suspect they are into you at least for your appearance if not for more reasons. I didn't mean teasing in mean yet playful way. Unless you are confused about the line between those two things.

Right, but that is somewhat my point. Where is the line for me versus you? What one person considers playful teasing, another could consider annoying.

Also personally. I don't relate to the diligent worker in school.. I've always been an anti-authoritarian by nature. Which is in my view deeper than a punk rock phase or something when a person is a follower in a social group, but moves on later. Its part of my personality to question and judge authorities and whether or not they are abusive. Bad authorities I don't care about their rules and attempts to control me. I recognize the abuse of power and write them off as controlling and judgmental. Which any person is free to prove me wrong and show they can be compassionate and open. So for me working at something I hated (Compulsory schooling since it was illegal to miss too many days of school) Also I hope my rambling doesn't bug you. I'm a creative by nature and disagreeable. So I never could stand the way schooling worked. And neither did many great people through history. Which is very interesting to me. The natural mismatch of amazing people and the highly controlled school environments of modern times. But I hope that hard work you put in worked out. Take care ^-^
