Why would a guy tell a girl she's dangerous?

I live in the same house as this guy, we talk every day and hang out or watch TV together. I am married but not currently living with my husband, someone made a comment about him liking me so I asked him if he did and he said" I need to be careful around you, I think you might be dangerous" what does he mean by that? He said he doesn't like me like that, so why would I be dangerous?

I think because you are living with somebody else than your husband it makes for an awkward situation. Living with somebody out of necessity creates a closeness. Wearing sleep attire, seeing a person in a more natural and relaxed state, etc, may be creating a situation where you are tempting him or challenging his morality to not be attracted to you.

Not to be too direct but ask yourself if you are conducting yourself like another mans wife OR just somebody who says they're married but acts as if she was single or available. How do you dress around him? What kind of conversations are you having? I'm not looking for an answer but you should consider those things.

I wouldn't take it as a compliment ( or necessarily a bad thing either ) but instead as a prompt to self-evaluate your position in this guys life.

Well we are living together because we are at a half way house, I just got out of prison and he had to come here for a probation violation, and I am married and conduct myself in an appropriate manner, I think he does like me, but that the situation prevents opportunity to explore it, because I am married and we are still in the system, if he didn't like me then why would I be dangerous? I think people only tempt you as much as you let them.

Because you're married, and he's not trying to exactly nose-dive into some deep sh*t.

That you might be dangerous to his reputation.

He may not want the label of 'the other man' & he may also not be fond of the idea of your husband finding out from someone that he 'likes' you.
