What does it mean if a girl goes out of her way to point out we are wearing the same shoes?

A girl I work with got new shoes, the same pair I have a worn a several times before, black Vans HI tops. When we were in a meeting I tied my laces and she made eye contact with me and stretched out her leg to show me we were wearing the same model and color. She normally wears white sneakers, like Fila or Adidas but suddenly switched to black Vans HI tops. I'll assume her sudden change has nothing to do with me, but why would she make a point of letting me know that we have the same shoes now?
