Should I tell my friend who I like?

I like someone. At first it wasn't serious, I was just attracted to him, but now I really like him. The more I get to know him, the more it turns into flirting. I don't know how much interested he is in me but there is something. The problem is that he's my teacher (we're both of legal age) I want to talk to someone about him and I might have mentioned him to my friend in a moment of weakness. But I only told her that he was a bit older than me, that I didn't feel comfortable about it but that I liked him anyway. But maybe I shouldn't have brought it up at all, she asked me a few questions and I had to give some misleading answers. Honestly, I don't think whatever it is between us can go beyond flirting, but I like spending time with him. I don't know if I should honestly tell my friend who he is, I don't feel comfortable how I told her but I don't know how she'll react after hearing this

I did tell her. At first it was kinda strange but she didn't judge and actually tried to help me so we're good

Don’t go against your better judgement just for the sake of having someone to vent to. I’d quicker make a voice note on my phone as to hear my thoughts out loud before confiding in someone who I’m not even confident I can trust with certain information. Even journaling is an option.

I know she won't ever do that. Even when I was not sure that was never the reason that I didn't want to tell her. I couldn't keep it to myself that's true but I needed help. I still do. Sometimes you just need to hear that you're doing the wrong thing from different people and I'm grateful that she's helping me with this feeling

You need multiple people to tell you what you already know you shouldn’t be doing? It’s already out now and I definitely pray for you that she will never betray you, but you don’t know what people are capable of. You’ve been mainly leaning towards this being a bad idea, so listen to yourself for once.

18-25. But we haven't had anything serious. Sometimes he walks with me after class or we sit and chat. We might act flirtatiously in class or when it's just the two of us, but nothing has happened. And I don't think it will happen. At least I won't take such a step. But I still think that maybe talking about it with someone close to me will help me feel better. (And I didn't tell her the exact age gap)
