When is a good time to ask out a guy?

So I have this big crush on a guy. Granted I haven’t seen him in a couple months or haven’t talked to him but that will all change once I’m good to start taking classes again. Before, he was really helpful wanting the best for me and making sure I understood the content. We don’t follow or have each other on any social media. I’m just wondering when I do go back to classes should I just ask him out for drinks and see what happens or would that be too straightforward? It’s hard to tell if he likes me or not. I have made him blush a couple times, but when is a good time to ask him out or should I just play it cool and see what he does.

If he’s blushed when looking at you then he’s into you big time. Just pick the right moment and ask him if he wants to go out with you. If he accepts, which I have absolutely no doubt he will, take things slowly, make him feel comfortable so he can open up his heart to you. I see a cute young couple in the making. Best of luck

I was very shy when I was young and once a beautiful girl I liked told me I was cute and that she would die for me and I just didn’t know how to react, particularly as there was 2 other girls with us when she said that and I blushed. I said nervously yeah right I believe you. I was inexperienced and messed up. I had nobody to teach me and I ended up driving her away with immature idiotic behaviour and made her hate me. This was 29 years ago and I still think about her every day even though I’m married. If you play this right you’ll have your guy in your arms like a puppy. Shy people fear rejection or can’t summon their courage to take the initiative, so you might have to take the lead. When you see him ask him how he’s been and make a small conversation and in the end tell him there’s something you wanna talk to him about and you wanna do it somewhere privately, like in a cafe, park bench or just walking on a street. Once there’s just the 2 of you ask him if he’s seeing anyone. If he says no then tell him you really like him and would like to go out with him if he’s interested. That should do it. As I said before just make him feel safe and comfortable and let him open up at his own pace. I think you will end up together, but if there’s a small chance it doesn’t happen then it wasn’t meant to be, but at least you’ll have no regrets. Best of luck!
