Sad ending... she didn't show up to the college for days (I passed out last year) .. A guy from the bus said she's sick since last week.. and now weekends are here... my military leave is about to end and flight is on Sunday night...

Nice work taking the initial step to talk with her! I would say some of the most important body language cues to indicate interest would be smiling, eye contact, leaning in a bit, or mirroring their body language.

If you guys become more comfortable with each other, then you can start to gradually decrease the distance between each other and throw in a few subtle touches, like touching their arm, hugging, or holding her hand.
