I'm distancing myself from my boyfriend..

Because he never texts or makes plans which leads me to think he doesn't care about me like I care about him. I've talked to him about it plenty of times so I've decided to just distance myself to see if he chases.

DO you think this is a good idea? Will he ask me about it if I keep acting funny? He already knows something is wrong with me he just hasn't asked yet.

Over the last month, I've talked to him about it very many times.


And the last thing I want is for us to break up, so I thought I'd do this to see if he really cares. I figured, when people care about someone, they WANT to contact them through texting and make plans whenever they can--- he doesn't.


What can I say to him, if I do talk to him, to get him to realize that I'm very serious this time?

Playing games is rarely a good idea. He may not be the type to plan or initiate, and just doesn't like to text. But you playing games, he could just as well assume you are pulling away because YOU don't care. I know if a woman I was dating decided to distance herself, I would assume she doesn't care, I would assume she wants a breakup, and I would oblige her.

Why don't you simply talk to him? Is it really too much to, say next time you guys meet, tell him your concerns, give him a chance to address them. At least he knows what's going on and can decide to step up.

You just talk to him. Tell him the whole truth. Tell him that you're a needy girl who needs him to text more and make plans more, and that if he doesn't do that sort of thing, you WILL break up with him.

So long as he knows clearly and unambiguously what you mean, then you might get him to change.

Don't do it. That's just playing mind games. If you really want things to change, you need to tell him that this bothers you. Closed mouths don't get fed. Although you've stated that you've mentioned it to him on numerous occasions. Therefore, if he's not taking the initiative, and trying to commit to you without you having ask, you deserve better and should move on.

Just try to talk to him and let him know what is going on if you wait for him to chase you it might not work. Being in a relationship means you too will try to work things out and an essential component of a relationship is communication so tell him how you feel and see what he says.
