Asking a girl out again a second time..

I'm in a situation where I met a girl she was constantly sitting behind me a few rows and in the end I introduced myself to her. she was friendly and gave me her name and told me what she did etc. two weeks later I asked her out for a coffee as she was still sitting behind me. she said no as she was going away for a week. I said well maybe when you come back then. she smiled but did not say anything. I sort of felt she was not interested. when she came back she sat well away from me in font. twice I've seen her look at me and then turn her head suddenly. I don't know if I should ask her out again. please someone give me some advice...

thanks for the feedback...Tula1 & KellyC...it's valuable to me...i sort of feel this strategy...if she sits back in the original position behind me then I will take it as a signal to ask her out again. if she stays away then I will respect her space and not ask her out...its give and take

Um, sounds like she's not interested or available. She said no and didn't give you an opening like, "I would love to but" or "maybe we could do that another time". When you said maybe another time, she did not affirm it. She moved away from her usual seating and avoids eye contact. Move on...And if she was playing hard to get as the guy below mentioned, why would you want someone so ridiculous. Continue being bold in asking girls out but move away from ones who don't communicate in an open and honest way.

thanks for your response. it's hard not to disagree with you. the only thing that I did not put that there was a period of sitting in the same place as I did for a while, all that's gone now...the thing is I think she got 'cold feet'. she came upto me initially made eye contact etc. when I got around to asking her she said "no, I'm going away for a week". now I just get the feeling she is either not interest or playing with me.I think I've go no chance but the insane side to me wants ask again.

Well, I admire the insane side of you. I don't know how much it'll do here but there are many girls who would like a guy who steps up to the plate. Insanity will pay off at some point.

it's great to see that you know what you want. She must have been trying to look like she's not interested to keep you interested so I think you should ask her again because she might just be waiting for you.

Sitting away is for sure a sign she isn't interested. You are going to have to read her body language on this one. If she moves close that's a good sign. Also does she smile if you look at her? Try just saying hello when you walk past her. Judge her reaction.
