Do you think you can get all your proteins just by eating veggies and fruits?

There was a discussion on FB about veganism and people who eat meat. Some vegetarians and vegans said that a person can easily get their proteins from veggies or fruits and eating meat is not necessary to get the proteins, you can be healthy and fine by consuming proteins just from veggies and fruits. So there was a lady in a FB discussion who is 62 and commented this:

Im not vegan but I dont eat red meat at all or any of dairy either (the lady do not consume any type of dairy either) beause I believe they are not benefitial or healty for my health. I eat salmon, fish and just some tiems chicken, legumes and some grains. Im 62 and Im very healthy. I believe there are foods that people call grass that has everything necessary without consuming supplements. Of course as the years goes by we do need some vitamins. Im hapoy eating healthy and not meat at all or red meat".

I mean some vegans go to the extreme in order to defend environment and animals at all cost. I just say that is part of the human cycle and chain food, you have to eat meat at some point. I mean do cave men eat just veegies and grass and frutis? Of course not they had to go out and hunt for animals to survive. Of course all excess is bad for anyone. You have to eat everything for good health and nutrition.
