I hate the smell and taste of pickles, relish, salad dressing, salt/vinegar chips, lettuce, onions, fish especially tuna and sushi, milk, eggs, vinegary bbq sauces, certain ketchup, certain bananas, lamb, blood, orange juice, mayo, chocolate syrup, yogurt, garlic, ricotta, beer/alcohol in general, ranch, chitlins, broccoli, and certain cheeses... Like if someone eats these things around me, i start gagging (unintentionally and try my best to hold my puke down). I have a sensitive nose/stomach and would suck in an eating competition on The Challenge
+1 yCabbage, green beans, cantaloupe, pineapple, honeydew melon, mango, pear, cauliflower, squash, lima beans, zucchini, asparagus, carrots if they’re cooked, radishes, miracle whip, honey mustard, chitlins, salami, bologna, vinegar, pepperoni. Aww Desi 😭 if that day ever comes I’ll just have to stop eating a majority of that stuff that you don’t like
13 Reply- +1 y
Cabbage and greens smell horrible but surprisingly taste decent. Haaate green beans and cantaloupe. Honeydew isn't bad. I hate pears forreal. Cauliflower look like broccoli so just ew. I hate cucumber and zuchini. Squash smells really good but i wouldn't eat it. Lima beans are awesome! Dont play! Carrots smell horrible but taste good in veggie soup. Haaaaate honey mustard. wouldn't kiss my ex when he ate it near me. Yea the whip cream in the bowl is nasty compared to the spray can. Salami smells and tastes awful. Bologno smels awful but tastes good. I love pepperoni! Especially spicy. And haha you dont have to stop eating the foods. Just go in a separate room in the house from me 😂
- +1 y
Carrots in veggie soup is real good. Just can’t eat boiled carrots by itself. Yes cauliflower is very eww. Haha okay 😂
- +1 y
I fully agree with both

1.7K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I hate liver, so even the smell of frying liver and onions is gross.
I'm not crazy about fermented foods like sauerkraut.
I fucking hate those dill pickle slices they put on burgers. But I occasionally like dill pickle spears. And home made pickled things can be great.
The thing that tastes the most horrible to me are any kind of olives. But I love olive oil an even some things like puttanesca sauce that are made out of olives.
I don't like fennel root. I used to think it was an exotic addition to the normally eaten vegetables until my wife discovered it and made it the vegetable with our meals for a week or two straight. Now I can't stand to even smell it.
Cottage cheese is barfy. It looks like curdled milk and has a disgusting texture.
FUCK kambucha.
Pumpkin pie spices are wonderful, but I hate the pumpkin pie flavored shit they put in coffee around the holidays.
I don't like the flavor of whiskey or scotch drinks. But a bit of whiskey in Irish coffee or in the sauce on Irish bread pudding is good.
I can't handle fresh oysters.
I'm sure there are other things that I can't think of right now. But I'm generally not a picky eater.11 Reply- +1 y
Pickles ruin burgers so quick. And even if you remove it, the print and pickle juice flavor is still there. Just horrible. Yea cottage cheese looks disgusting. I almost tried kambucha but can't bring myself to. Pumpkin anything smells horrible in my opinion
Wow, I feel like a lot of these have similar or trigger the similar nerves/ sensory systems in our nasal passages, and how it registers correspondingly.
All of them have that certain.. “stingy essence” to it lol.
Crazy.. because a few of these I was not surprised to see on a ‘disliked list,’ but surprised we shared that in common just because many don’t dislike these items (I think 🤔). (Somewhat unpopular).
I dislike any of those creams-
- Cool Ranch Dressing
- Sour Cream and Onion dip
- Macaroni salads?
- Cottage Cheese
- Definitely salt and vinegar (nothing enticing about it lol it’s a perfect example of something our bodies would want to avoid naturally, but the “human epitome, of dietary innovation” declared it healthy or at least safe to consume, so we then override our sense of smell, and totally welcome a crazy and unheard of combination- such as salt and vinegar in baked/ dehydrated? Potatoes 🥔😂😭).
I don't know I am weird because I kinda like pickles and their smell.. a TINY TINY bit lol (very minuscule).
- Ricotta cheese is def. ☝️ on the list as well 😵💫
- The Greek yogurts could cause “manual, human-flight without the use of a machine.. ✈️ ” and this would be discovered and witnessed being done by me… because when I smell it… I can absolutely fly 🪰 through the (just about any) roof lol even my stomach will think I’m in space: perform anti-gravity, and send all my digestives up 🔝 🥲😂.
Certain sauces for me:
- the Tostitos, nacho-cheese dip, and any other similar cheese dips.. which don’t seem like cheese to begin with🤧. Just some “Kraft manure” lol
The sauces like… Idk- is it hemp? Kemp?
- And guacamole.
•Chili doesn’t smell too good, in my unpopular opinion, as well.
15 Reply- +1 y
Macaroni salad is damn awful 😭 Yea some of their cheese dips smell like booty 🤣 i actually love chili
- +1 y
Thats why i wouldn't daye a gym freak who eats eggs all the time. His burps and farts are probably deadly
- +1 y

+1 yLol seems you hate almost everything.
Do you hate shrimp?
I hate blood-
Dislike separate egg meals (scrambled or omelette) but I will eat it in pancakes or something hidden.
I only like the miniature bananas and there are the normal sized bananas in my house always but I never touch it unless starving (don't hate it. Just dislike).
I don't like marshmallows, popcorn, very sugary things.
13 Reply- +1 y
Nah its a lot of foods i love. I like shrimp but not their smell. I dont eat pancakes though. I like marshmallows. I only like popcorn if its caramel
- +1 y
Ahh I asked because I wonder if you tried tempura sushi (cooked shrimp).
Oh and by the way I don't like hotdogs or most processed meats like hotdog sausage. Lol if cheap was a taste. - +1 y
Oh nah i can't do sushi lmao
+1 yAnything with vinegar or parmesan. I really, really hate that pungent taste they have to it. I can't eat parmesan cheese because it's just so strong, and vinegar is so foul.
11 Reply- +1 y

Bay leafs, yes, that's how you spell it. I totally forgot. 😂

Eeww anchovies. My stomach is turning at the thought of that and sardines. I actually want to try liver but if it smells like roadkill (like lamb) then i’ll pass
- +1 y
I use anchovies in beef stews or beef soups as they're very high in umami and glutimates which enhances the beefy flavor. You'd never know they're present Not like when they're on a pizza.
- +1 y
Liver doesn't really smell bad it has a bit of a bloody smell but it has a weird texture and flavor, my parents loved it with fried onions but it wasn't for me.
