Why won't she come to my house anymore?

The first time me and this girl I like ever hung out, she came to my house. When she walked in the house, I introduced her to my parents who were already in the room, and then we went and watched a movie in my basement. Ever since that night, whenever I wanna she her she says I have to come to her house. I asked her why she won't come over my house some of the times, and she told me because she thinks my family is "scary."

I feel like this is a bs reason though, because she saw my parents that one night for 2 minutes max. I've confronted her and told her I think she's lying/messing with me about that, but she won't give me a clear answer. I don't think I did anything to creep her out, we watched a movie then had an hour long conversation before she left. And my basement isn't creepy either, we have a nice looking home theater down there.

Anyone have any clue why she doesn't wanna come over anymore?

I actually kind of recognize myself in this haha. It's not that you, your home or parents are creepy, she's just not comfortable yet, I wouldn't worry though. When I met my bf's parents we had dinner at his place and I was crazy nervous, they were really sweet, I'm sure yours are as well, and I wanted to make a good impression. I wasn't comfortable at all, but it wasn't because anyone did anything weird or creepy. Think of it as stagefright. And if you could choose between something easy and something that makes you uncomfortable, what would you pick?
I realized that it didn't matter because I wanted to be with my guy and I have to challenge myself in order to grow. I never told him any of this since I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
My advice to you is to give her time, the most important thing is that she's comfortable around you, then it'll be so much easier for her to be comfortable at your place. You could always talk to her about it but try to stay patient. I'm sure she'll come around :)
