Why do women think that they will remain attractive and have men jumping through hoops for them even into their 30's and 40's? (Page 2)

I often see on gag many women get upset when a man says he does not find a woman over say 25 or 30 to be attractive to him anymore. Women and men both bash him as being narrow minded (which is funny because no one says that about height for women) and then proceed to post pics of celebrities who are rich, have personal trainers and nutritionist, professional makeup and less stressful lives.
  Some women will have a convenient story of some person they know in their life who still get male attention as an example to sway away that women still are just as hot in their 30's and 40's as they are in their 20's almost as if they are trying to convince themselves they'll live the sex and the city lifestyle they'll have on TV where rich, successful and/or hot men will chase them down for a chance at relationships or more accurately the quality of men who want them now will remain at that level when they enter into their 30's and 40's.
 In addition to this they like to deny that they will show any signs of aging or that their body has undergone a change that makes them a stark contrast to women in their early 20's. I actually once heard a girl deny that women do not get wrinkles in their late 20's and how most women she know still pretty much look the same as they did in their early 20's.

 Age range: 25-29 

And while saying all this they bash and try to pretend that the pendulum does not swing over to men past 30 and men gain some semblance of power in the dating game where women begin chasing the men. Many women quip to men as they age they will start going bald and getting bear guts and therefore will be in the same boat as women with age and because of this their stance in the dating game which is a position of being the chase and therefore lower value will remain and women will still hold all the cards and control.

 So why do women want to stay in the spotlight of desirability forever?
