What does it means when a girl looks down immediately after eye contact?

This question is more for the girls, haha. I was the other day at the college library and there was a girl in a desk and when she made eye contact with me, she lowered her head very fast, like hiding under her cap she was wearing. I'm very curious, because I've encountered this girl before around campus, the other time was in the cafeteria. I was buying some food, she was with a group of people and she followed me with her sight. I don't know her, neither I talked with her or have her on social media. It's kinda weird. The only thing that can have certain relation with her was a drawing that I made of her and I had to presented it in art class, but it wasn't big deal with me, by the way I'm studying arts xD

Eye contact is usually an invitation to engage, and she probably wasn't ready to do that.

As for why she wasn't ready, that's up in the air. She might have though you were ugly. She might have thought you were handsome. Maybe she had to study for something important. Maybe she has a boyfriend.

All you know is that at this moment in time, she wasn't ready.

Solely the eye contact doesn't mean that much. But if you pair up this eye contact with this incident " she followed me with her sight" then it may possible that she likes you.
